4500 meters above sea level, BlackShields’ air-cooled chillers are running in Tibet

The 120,000 kW Photovoltaic power plant in Naqu city that is the biggest photovoltaic power plant in Tibet started running on Dec 25th, 2022.

BlacShields provided air cooled chiller as the climate solution for battery energy storage system in the power plant.

BlackShields’ MC-GU air cooled chiller is built in the battery container. Considering the temperature elevation is increased in the high altitude area, the air cooled chiller can worked in the environment temperature from -25℃ to 47℃ in the area of 4500 meters above sea level. As the climate control solution for the battery container, the chiller protect the battery to work under the special outdoor environment smoothly.
